The R2S-1X12 is a single 12" shallow enclosure with a 2-Ohm load and 250 Watts RMS power handling. The enclosure is made of 5/8? MDF, has a high-density carpet covering, and quick-release compression terminals. Our PRIME R2S 12" shallow loaded enclosure is sure to be a perfect fit for your ride and your budget when you don’t have enough room for bass. Because of the slim-line depth of 3.25" on top and 5.25" on the bottom, these shallow loaded enclosures can fit in tight spaces. For single-cab trucks with limited seat travel, the wedge design is ideal. Are you ready to have a good time? Yeah, we thought so.
Big bass in a tight space
Rockford Fosgate’s Prime Series R2S-1X12 shallow sub enclosure lets you have big bass in your vehicle without taking up too much space. Coming in at 5-1/4? deep, this box was made with the regular cab truck owner in mind. Rockford Fosgate built each enclosure with 5/8? thick medium-density fiberboard protected by rugged black carpeting so they’re tough too.
Powerful woofer
The enclosure includes one Prime R2SD4 subwoofer with a 2-ohm impedance that can handle up to 250 watts RMS. A mica-injected polypropylene cone with a poly-foam surround provides accurate bass you can feel.

Rockford Fosgate R2-250X1 Prime 250 Watt Mono Subwoofer Amplifier
The Rockford Fosgate R2-250X1 Prime Series amplifier can power your subwoofer with up to 250 watts RMS. You can adjust the low-pass filter, infrasonic filter, and Rockford Fosgate’s famous Punch boost to get the best possible bass from the sub and enclosure in your vehicle. This amplifier is extremely efficient because of its Class-D technology which reduces demand on the vehicles electrical system. The amp also features C.L.E.A.N. circuitry to help you adjust your gain settings, a P.O.W.E.R. supply that generates more power as voltage increases, and integrated Punch EQ that corrects for acoustic deficiencies while delivering up to 3X the bass. Perfect for subwoofers, a variable infrasonic filter and remote level control allows you to tune the bass for the desired level for the music.

8 gauge power, ground and signal installation kit for an amplifier. Kit includes 17 feet of 8 AWG power wire, 3 feet of 8 AWG ground wire, (1) 16 feet twisted pair RCA, AGU fuse holder and fuse, 20 feet of remote wire, 40 Amp fuse.
RFK8I Features:
- FULL spec cable – meets or exceeds AWG (American Wire Gauge) requirements
- 8 AWG (8.36mm²) 735 strands
- Includes appropriate wire termination hardware

CEA-2015
Rockford Fosgate cables conform to the CEA-2015 industry standard. The standard specifies the exact amount of copper needed to indicate a specific wire diameter or gauge size (8 AWG, 4 AWG, etc). Some manufacturers substitute thicker insulation for copper. With Rockford Fosgate, you get exactly what you pay for.
Includes RCA Cables
This amplifier kit includes RCA patch cables. These are the necessary cables used to transfer low-level signal from the source unit to the amplifier, typically located in the rear of the vehicle.
Includes Fused Dist.
This amplifier kit includes fused distribution. It utilizes a stand-alone fuse holder that can be installed in a convenient place under the hood. This amplifier kit includes power wire by including necessary cable for both B(+) and GND(-) connections. Additionally, amplifier kits include remote turn-on power wire. All cables in this kit conform to the CEA-2015 AWG specification.
