Definitive Technology DM80 Floor-Standing Bipolar Tower Speaker - Pair - Black
The Definitive Technology Dymension DM80 speakers use a bipolar driver array to direct sound in multiple directions, creating a more immersive listening experience. The bipolar effect can be adjusted to suit the room they are placed in. The DM80's four 5.25" mid/bass woofers use patented BDSS technology to improve driver excursion and create a uniform soundstage. The aluminum oxide tweeters provide smooth, crisp sound with pinpoint imaging. The Definitive Technology Dymension DM80 speakers have a built-in 12" subwoofer, powered by a high-performance GaN FET 400W amplifier, which provides clean, detailed bass. The 3XR Architecture combines a subwoofer and two passive radiators to produce balanced bass with less distortion. Patented Intelligent Bass Control blends subwoofer output with mids and highs to provide deep-bass performance without sacrificing midrange clarity. These speakers are timbre-matched with other Definitive Technology series, allowing you to mix and match speakers for your home theater system. Additionally, the DM90 Atmos-certified and DTS:X-compatible height module can be added to extend sound above you for a more immersive experience.

Definitive Technology Dymension DM80 four 5.25" mid/bass woofers feature our patented BDSS technology. BDSS improves midrange driver excursion and provides a wide, uniform soundstage with seamless bass/mid integration. A Linear Response Waveguide™ extends and smooths off-axis dispersion for great sound everywhere in the room.
